His father had designed an initial set of plans in England, which were shipped over with hopes of adapting them to U.S. building regulations. Although he had a strong foundation for the interior layout, he needed support in transforming his family’s vision into a new construction project that met both aesthetic and functional requirements. In the kitchen, we maintained the traditional layout envisioned by the client’s father while incorporating American elements for added convenience. We installed a farmhouse-style sink, complete with a Vigo Industries pull-down spray faucet, which complemented the ECOSINKS stainless steel sink. A custom-designed island provided additional workspace and storage, blending seamlessly with the engineered wood cabinetry and countertops. This kitchen became a meeting point of tradition and modern functionality, embodying the perfect fusion of the client’s English heritage and Armada’s design expertise.

Throughout the home, special features were thoughtfully added to enhance comfort and elegance. The bathrooms included high-end Kohler fixtures, balancing classic design with contemporary efficiency. To ensure the home would meet all practical needs, we wired it for a backup generator, offering both peace of mind and resilience. Armada also incorporated skylights and vaulted ceilings in key areas, providing a bright, open atmosphere that celebrated the spaciousness of the design.

The client approached us with a vision for sleek, modern bathrooms that would seamlessly integrate with the classic design elements in their new build, including elegant crown moldings and wainscoting. They desired a harmonious blend of contemporary style with touches that honored timeless design.

We began with the installation of the advanced Kohler DTV® digital shower system, complete with a two-port thermostatic valve and the DTV® Prompt® Digital Shower Interface, providing a luxurious, high-tech shower experience. Complementing this, we added a stylish Kingston Brass two-handle widespread lavatory faucet paired with the Kohler Verticyl™ rectangle undercounter lavatory, achieving a balance of elegance and functionality. To maintain the modern aesthetic, we selected the Kohler Memoirs toilet and added a Telephone stand-style slipper bath faucet, which offered a subtle nod to classic charm. The bathroom was finished with carefully chosen tile that matched the new fixtures, creating a polished and cohesive look.

In the en-suite bathroom, we continued with contemporary upgrades, including Price Pfister’s valve and an extended shower rain head, along with a widespread lavatory faucet. The addition of a Kohler Caxton undercounter lavatory and Glacier Bay toilet, paired with beautifully selected tile, sustained the sleek, modern feel the client envisioned.

The family bathroom followed a similar approach, featuring a Price Pfister valve, tub filler, and rain head, complemented by a widespread lavatory faucet and a Kohler Caxton undercounter lavatory. The space was completed with an American Standard Colony bath and a Glacier Bay toilet, set against engineered hardwood and tile flooring for a durable, stylish finish.

The result was a series of stunning, modern bathrooms that perfectly captured the client’s vision, enhancing their new build with a seamless blend of contemporary style and classic elegance. We laid a foundation of beautiful engineered hardwood flooring, providing warmth and sophistication throughout the kitchen. For the sink area, we installed an ECOSINKS Acero Select Combo Undermount Stainless Steel kitchen prep sink alongside a Pegasus Farmer Apron Front Fireclay single bowl kitchen sink in white, adding both practicality and charm to the new space.

To elevate convenience, we included an InSinkErator Indulge Tuscan Chrome Instant Hot Water Dispenser with the InSinkErator Hot Water Tank and Filtration System, allowing instant access to hot water. The Vigo pull-down spray kitchen faucet completed the upgrades, adding a sleek and functional element that tied the space together.
