The clients approached Armada Design & Build with a clear vision: to elevate their home by upgrading their kitchen, creating a dedicated workout room, and enhancing the overall aesthetic with new hardware details. The design team selected a stunning quartz countertop as the kitchen’s centerpiece, offering elegance and functionality. The backsplash, a contemporary glass and metal mosaic, added sophistication while being easy to maintain. Custom high-gloss white cabinetry created a bright, airy feel. Hardware details, including privacy and passage handles, were chosen to enhance functionality without sacrificing style.
High-quality fixtures rounded out the kitchen design. A deep undermount sink provided ample space for meal prep, while a stylish faucet added convenience and flair. The addition of a filtered hot water dispenser and a pot filler faucet further showcased the clients’ commitment to a space that was both beautiful and efficient.
The workout room was designed with health and wellness goals in mind, featuring engineered wood flooring that added warmth and comfort. Layout and equipment placement were carefully considered, resulting in a functional sanctuary for fitness that seamlessly integrated into the home while maintaining its own identity.
Beyond the major renovations, the clients wanted to upgrade several hardware details throughout the home. New interior doors were installed for a cohesive look and enhanced privacy, and the railings were upgraded with horizontal iron-welded bars, providing a contemporary look while ensuring safety and durability. The combination of wood and metal elements added visual interest and charm to the overall design.

Our Process
The clients’ home underwent a remarkable transformation with the expertise of Armada Design & Build, focusing on enhancing their kitchen, creating a dedicated workout room, and upgrading essential hardware throughout the home. The design process began with a series of collaborative consultations, during which they articulated their desires for a functional and stylish living space.
Central to the project was the kitchen, which the family envisioned as a modern, inviting hub for gatherings. To achieve this, we selected Pental Misterio quartz for the countertops, providing a beautiful yet durable surface that could withstand daily use. The kitchen features an undermount Ruvati sink and a Danze faucet, chosen for their sleek lines and functionality. We also included a pot filler faucet over the stove, enhancing convenience without cluttering the countertops.
The backsplash, designed with MSI’s glass and metal mosaic, added texture and visual interest. Custom-painted maple cabinets in a high-gloss white finish brightened the space and complemented the modern aesthetic, creating a cohesive look. High-quality polished chrome hardware from Atlas Homewares added both function and style to the cabinet pulls.
Creating a dedicated workout room was also a priority. We selected Provenza Urban Chic engineered wood flooring for its warmth and durability, ensuring a comfortable, stylish environment. The layout was thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of workout equipment while allowing for movement and flexibility.
The installation process was meticulously planned to ensure minimal disruption to daily life, with a focus on quality. Our team began with thorough site preparation, handling demolition and clearing the workout room space efficiently and protecting surrounding areas from dust and debris.
In the kitchen, the quartz countertop installation required skilled craftsmanship for a seamless fit. The undermount sink was precisely installed for a clean look, and the backsplash was carefully aligned for a perfect finish. Cabinets were hung with precision to ensure smooth operation and perfect alignment. In the workout room, engineered wood flooring was installed with a focus on level and alignment, providing a solid foundation for fitness activities. Wall-mounted features were positioned thoughtfully for optimal use and aesthetic appeal.
To elevate the home’s overall aesthetic, we upgraded several hardware details throughout. Interior doors were replaced with Jeld Wen Continental molded composite doors for a clean, modern look. For the railings, we installed horizontal 1/4″ iron welded bars with a stainless-steel finish, creating a sleek, contemporary design that enhanced safety without compromising style.
The meticulous attention to detail in design and installation allowed the family to enjoy a home that balances aesthetics and functionality beautifully. Railings & Doors
The transformation of the home included a significant upgrade to the railings and doors, enhancing both safety and aesthetics. The team chose Jeld Wen Continental molded composite doors, known for their durability and modern appeal. These doors were selected in various sizes to ensure a cohesive look throughout the home, offering a fresh, clean design that complements the updated interiors. The installation process for the doors was carefully executed to ensure perfect alignment and smooth operation. Our skilled craftsmen meticulously measured and adjusted the door frames, ensuring each door was fitted securely and opened effortlessly. The final result was a polished, modern look that seamlessly integrates with the overall design of the home.
For the railings, we opted for horizontal 1/4″ iron welded bars with a stainless-steel finish. This choice not only provides a contemporary aesthetic but also ensures safety on staircases and balconies. The design allows for unobstructed views, making spaces feel more open and inviting. During installation, precise measurements were taken to guarantee that each railing section was level and securely anchored, ensuring both safety and stability.
